Chess for beginners in Tashkent 5

About this list

This short list holds the academies that state on their own pages that they take players who are starting from nothing. SkyChess teaches beginners of every age at its branches in Qiyot, Chilonzor, Yunusobod and Sebzor: children and teenagers pay by the month, and adults book single one-hour lessons. The branches keep different opening hours, which each card gives as the academy prints them.

City Chess, a short walk from Aybek metro, takes beginners into groups of four to eight with two or three sessions a week, and also teaches one to one and online. For a first game outside a classroom, the Republican Children’s Library chess club under the Where to play section has held free meetings aimed at beginners, in Uzbek and Russian, with registration in advance.
